VALUE DELIVERED
MSI Electrical Division engaged with and procured an electrical engineering firm to complete the electrical power distribution portion of the design and a process engineering firm to design the process system based on the owners equipment and concept.
CLIENT OBJECTIVES
The client sought us out based on a recommendation from another International client of ours that we had previously performed a project for. The original contractor that was engaged with our client failed to perform anything other than provide a building and basic utilities, MSI was tasked with gathering the resources to turn the clients concept and the equipment that they use for the process in their country of origin into a functioning chemical facility that meets all US standards.
SOLUTIONS
After procuring the electrical design firm we installed new motor control centers, PLC cabinets, power distribution panels, transformers, etc. per engineering firms design.
We field designed cable tray, and conduit rack routes driven by value engineering to meet the clients budget which due to the original contractor failing would be exceeded, we approached the whole project with this as our priority, knowing the client had run into multiple additional cost that the original contractor had failed to include in its budget to the client.
We engaged with the process engineer to integrate the clients equipment and concept into the process engineering firms equipment, hardware, and software.
We wired all motors, instruments and other controls, worked with client, provided commissioning and start up assistance at an expedited pace to get the clients facility up and running.
