MSI Electrical Division performed a design/build installation repurposing an existing facility to accommodate new product manufacturing. The client required an expedited demo and installation due to the fact that they were changing the entire manufacturing process and would be down until the new facility was in production. We have a long history with this customer in the same facility of upgrading and maintaining equipment as needed to help streamline the manufacturing process.

 CLIENT OBJECTIVES
The client competitive pricing, schedule and installation flexibility as there were multiple equipment vendors providing individual pieces of the overall production equipment, MSI was tasked with field design and integration of these individual processes into the clients overall process.

 SOLUTIONS
MSI designed and installed additional electrical services and coordinated with local utility provider to provide the client with the required new electrical infrastructure to support the additional power requirements of the new process.

 We field designed and installed a 750 kw diesel generator, transfer switch, and panel to back up critical loads in the facility.
 We provided and installed new main switchgear, switchboards, and power distribution centers located throughout the facility for the new production lines and provisions for additional equipment for future upgrades. Field designed and installed cable tray systems that would be efficient for the current and future installations, made final connections to all equipment and worked with the owner and their equipment providers to commission the plant and get it on line and back to full production.
